Is it true you guys from Decathlon offer a lifetime warranty on your B'twin bikes ?

Thanks

Hi @Chamulecool , that's correct - lifetime warranty on the frame, handlebar, and stem and also 2-year warranty on the fork and components. Sounds amazing, right?! Woman Wink

The lifetime warranty also covers a rigid metal fork!

Metal seatposts are covered as well.

Re: Lifetime warranty on bikes ?

B’twin offers a lifetime warranty but the terms and condition are :
This Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover: [normal wear and tear; poor maintenance; improper assembly; labour charges; installation of parts or accessories not recommended or intended to be combined with the B'TWIN frame or relevant B'TWIN bike parts; bending or denting of the B'TWIN frame or relevant B'TWIN bike parts; damage caused by a collision.]
So my question is if this is not covered then according to you what are the scenario in which bicycle gets damaged?
I mean what is the use of providing a life time warranty when the chances of a product getting damaged is not covered .

Re: Lifetime warranty on bikes ?

thanks for your question.

The lifetime warranty covers any issues with relate to manufacturing defetcts (and not damage) affecting the following metal parts during normal use (frames, rigid forks, stems, bars and seat posts). Damage is not covered. If you crash/have an accident or you've not looked after the bike (leaving it outside in the rain over a significant period of time for ex) of you've structurally modified the above parts then the warranty does not come into play.
