Retrieve frame number (stolen bike)

Hello, is the frame number of a BTWIN Rockrider 300 mountain bike recorded with the purchase?

My bike was stolen and would like to provide this number to the police.

I searched my previous purchases and found that a number is recorded on the receipt with the name of the bike. Is that the frame number?

This is the format on the receipt:

BTWIN MTB ROCKRIDER 300 MAN

<<number>>

Thank you very much!

Re: Retrieve frame number (stolen bike)

The serial number is indeed recorded at the time of sale and will be on your reciept/Decathlon card.

It's 12 numbers long and normally starts with 3-4 0's.

Hope this helps and sorry your bike bike got stolen.

Is it possible to do the reverse, to give you a serial number and you check to see where/when it was bought. I want to quiz a seller, to check the bike wasn't stolen.

Hi, I can't see where the number is, there's nothing on my Decathlon account and only an 'RFID' and a 6-digit (presumably item id number) on the receipt?
